Alliance Operations

The operation your alliance gets every week: the five operations and their goals, the steps at 50, 75 and 100 per cent and what they pay, taking part, HAND OVER in a Supply Convoy week, and the banners.

“Do your part, and every one of you is paid.”

— Fleet Admiral Selene Voss

The weekly operation

Every week your alliance gets an operation: one big goal the whole alliance fills together, with a second goal beside it. Every alliance has the same operation the same week, the five below in turn. It starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC, when the weekly orders turn, and ends when the next week begins. Open it on the OPERATIONS tab of the Alliance screen, between ORDERS and FIND ALLIANCE.

The goals are sized per member, by how many members the alliance had when the week began; an alliance of one or two is sized as three. A member who joins during the week can take part, but does not make the goals bigger. Progress stops at the goal, and what is not reached when the week ends lapses: nothing carries over.

OperationMain goal, each memberSecondary goal, each member

Everything counts wherever it happens, and so does work that finishes after you signed off: minerals and gas as your fleets take them from the rock, a battle you win against a Tide fleet (a patrol, a signal's ambush or an incursion fleet), a signal worked to the end, a module built. An operation and the weekly orders can count the same mining; each pays for it in its own way.

The steps and what they pay

The main goal has three steps. Every member who took part is paid each one the moment it is reached. Operations never pay coins.

StepPays each member who took part
50%10 blueprint fragments
75%25 fragments and 3 Tide cores
100%5 Tide cores, and a mark on the operation's banner
Secondary goal full25 fragments, whether or not the main goal gets anywhere

A full week pays each member who took part 10 blueprint fragments, 50 fragments and 8 Tide cores. Tide cores and fragments are kept for the Relic Forge if you cannot use them yet.

Taking part means adding at least a quarter of one member's share to either goal: in an Iron Harvest week, 50,000 minerals or 7 Tide wins. Everyone who took part is paid the same. The foot of the page says whether you have, and what it takes if not. A member who is away when a step is reached is paid at their next sign-in; one who takes part after a step was reached is paid that step then, until the week ends.

One operation's pay a week: if you change alliance during the week, only the first alliance you took part with pays you. What you added stays in its bar when you leave.

TOP CONTRIBUTORS lists who added most to the main goal. It gives the credit; it does not pay more.

Supply Convoy: HAND OVER

In a Supply Convoy week the page has HAND OVER under the goals. Each press takes 50,000 minerals from your stores into the convoy, or what is still missing if that is less. It stays dark while your stores hold less than one hand-over, or once the convoy is full, and the line beside it says why. It is the one operation that takes resources out of the game.

Banners

Each of the five operations has a banner, the alliance's long goal. Every week your alliance finishes an operation at 100% adds a mark to its banner, and the banner grows in metal:

MetalWeeks finished
Bronze1
Silver4
Gold8

Each operation comes round about ten times a year, so all five banners in gold is about a year for an alliance that finishes nearly every week. Banners belong to the alliance and are kept for as long as it lasts: a member who leaves does not take them. They hang on the OPERATIONS page, and every alliance's are known to FIND ALLIANCE.

In development

Starting values. The five operations, their goals, the steps and their pay, the quarter share and the banners' metals may all change. The first five weeks (one of each operation) will be looked at and the goals sized again.
