Massive Frontier · Lore
The history of the Frontier, from the Deep Before to the Long War.
The powers of the Frontier under the failing light of Aurelia.
Humanity did not come to the Frontier. It fled there.
Four centuries ago the arks of the Scattering limped out of the dark and found a dying red star called Aurelia. Everything that followed was built in its failing light: an empire, a rebellion, a dozen schisms and a war that has never truly ended. Twelve powers now contest the Frontier, and all twelve are human. They share one ancestry, one catastrophe and one enemy.
That enemy is older than any of them. It is older than the star. It ate the world humanity was born on, and it has come back.
