Rankings

The leaderboard: ten boards of commanders, factions and alliances, all-time and this week, in the game and on the website.

“Everyone on the Frontier is counted. Make sure they count you.”

— Fleet Admiral Selene Voss

Opening the rankings

Press the trophy beside the battle reports button, at the bottom right of the HUD. Its gold badge shows your place on the all-time Infamy board.

  1. Pick a board from the two rows of tabs.
  2. Choose ALL-TIME or THIS WEEK.
  3. On a commander board, choose GLOBAL, MY FACTION or FRIENDS (you and your Steam friends).
  4. Click a line to see that commander, faction or alliance on the card at the right.

The first three wear gold, silver and bronze. Your own line is pinned under the list wherever you stand. The arrow beside each line compares its place with yesterday's; NEW means it was not on yesterday's board.

The boards

BoardAll-timeThis week
InfamyInfamy: won and lost in battles against other commandersInfamy won since Monday, less what was lost
LevelCommander level; XP decides a tieXP earned since Monday
PvP WinsBattles won against other commandersThe same, since Monday
Tide HuntersTide ships destroyedThe same, since Monday
DestroyersEnemy ships destroyed, Tide and commanders alikeThe same, since Monday
RaidersEnemy bases breachedThe same, since Monday
DefendersRaids held off at your own baseThe same, since Monday
MinersMinerals, helium-3 and antimatter mined by your fleetsThe same, since Monday
FactionsThe Infamy of each faction's ten best commandersThe Infamy they won since Monday
AlliancesThe Infamy of each alliance's ten best commandersThe Infamy they won since Monday

The week starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC, as the weekly bounties do. When two commanders have the same number, the second number decides (XP under a level, fewer losses under wins, the level under the rest), then the name.

A faction's or an alliance's score is the sum of its ten best commanders, so a small group of strong commanders can beat a large one. A commander who lost Infamy this week counts as nothing for their group's week, never less.

The card

A commander's card shows their career: battles, PvP wins and losses, win rate, ships destroyed, Tide ships destroyed, bases breached, raids held and what their fleets have mined.

ButtonWhat it does
WHISPEROpens the chat with a whisper to that commander
ADD FRIENDOpens Steam's own add-a-friend page over the game
VIEW PROFILEOpens their profile: medals, title and career

A faction's or an alliance's card shows its three best commanders and what its members have done. VIEW COMMANDERS opens the Infamy board with only its commanders on it.

After a battle

When a battle moves your Infamy, a banner at the top of the screen says by how much, and your place before and after on the Infamy board. Rankings are worked out after every battle, and every five minutes.

On the website

The same boards are public at massivefrontier.com/leaderboard, updated from the game server every five minutes, with the week's top three commanders on the home page. They show names, factions, levels and numbers only.

Tip

Rankings give no rewards. They are for glory.
