  5. 139 BLThe pathfinder crews fly ahead of the arks: the origin of the Deep Space Explorers.
  6. 90 BLThe ark families of the Long Dark take the vow never to stop moving: the origin of the Nomad Clans.
  7. Chapter 3 Landfall
  8. 0 ALLandfall at Aurelia. Year 0 of the Frontier calendar. The ark council rules by emergency decree.
  9. 9 ALThe first segments of the Aurelian Ring are raised. Belt mining begins, "temporarily".
  10. Chapter 4 The Golden Age
  11. 41 ALThe ark council proclaims itself the Solar Throne.
