You can now link your Discord account to your Massive Frontier account. If you're invited to a playtest on the website, you'll get the Pre-Alpha Testers role in our Discord server automatically, with no waiting for a moderator.
Why link?
- Automatic tester access. Get invited on the website and the Pre-Alpha Testers role follows you into Discord. That opens tester chat, the bug-report and feedback forums, and the Test Session voice channel.
- One commander everywhere. Your website account, the forums and Discord all recognise you as the same player.
How to link
- Sign in at massivefrontier.com with Steam.
- Open My Account and find Connected accounts.
- Click Link Discord and approve it on Discord. That's it.
Not in our Discord server yet? Join here. Once you're in, your role arrives within about 10 minutes.
What we can see
Linking uses Discord's most basic permission: we get your Discord user ID and username, and nothing else. We never see your email, your servers, your friends or your messages, and we discard Discord's access token straight away. You can unlink at any time from your account page. Already a tester from the Discord sign-up form?
You're all set. You already have the Pre-Alpha Testers role, and your Steam key will arrive by direct message from our bot when a build is ready. You're welcome to link your account too.
