Server update 3.1
LatestA server-side fix for building armor and health bars. Nothing to download.
September 21, 2026
Fixed
- Building armor and health bars read correctly with modules fitted. Fitting an armor plate or a health module to a building at full strength left its bar below 100%, and repairing or upgrading couldn't fill it. A full building now stays full when you fit a module, and a damaged one keeps the same percentage at its new, higher maximum. Fitting a module doesn't repair damage. (#21)
Good to know
- This update was server-only. You're already playing it with Alpha build 3; there's nothing to download.

Alpha build 3
Easier building placement, one Command Bridge per base, and fitting fixes.
September 21, 2026 · Steam build 25448177
New
- Placement shows where a building can go. When you place or move a building, every pad it can't use is dimmed, so the pads you can build on stand out.
- Double-click an empty pad to change its tile type. A single click no longer opens the tile type panel. A single click on a building still selects it.
- Click outside the tile type panel to close it.
- Module details list every resistance. Armor and shield modules now show all seven resistance types they give (Kinetic, Energy, Explosive, Alien, Void, Plasma and Stasis). Before, armor showed three and shields showed none.
Changed
- One Command Bridge per base. Raise your bridge level by upgrading the one you have. The build menu now shows "Already built: upgrade your Bridge". Before, a second bridge could be placed on an ANY pad, but it didn't raise your bridge level. (#20)
- Ship resistances are capped at 100%. The ship card now shows the same capped value that battles use, and stasis resistance from modules now counts toward your ship's total. (#17)
Fixed
- Clicking Equip quickly could fit a single module into several slots. (#12)
- After fitting modules to a base building, outfitting a ship kept the base view: the building inspector and the base module list. (#14)
- The ship card could show a resistance above 100%. (#17)

Alpha build 2
Fixes for the empty fleet list, outpost labels showing the wrong player, and clicks that did nothing.
September 21, 2026 · Steam build 25445065
Fixed
- Empty fleet list after logging in. On slower connections your fleet list could stay empty for the whole session. It now loads however long your login takes. (#9)
- Every outpost showed the same owner and level. In planet view, all outposts could show one player's name and level. Each outpost now shows its own. Your base and its data were never affected. (#18)
- Clicking did nothing on some connections. Depending on connection timing, selecting, hovering and box-selecting could stop responding for the whole session. They now work however quickly or slowly the game connects. (#19)

Alpha build 1
The first test build: Steam sign-in, your Steam avatar, and fixes to bases and selection.
September 21, 2026 · Steam build 25439099
New
- Sign in with Steam. The game signs you in with the Steam account you're running it from. There's no separate account or password.
- Your Steam avatar now appears in the player panel.
- Clear message when the server can't be reached. If the game can't connect, or the connection drops, it tells you why and offers to try again. Before, it dropped you into an empty universe.
Fixed
- Buildings were missing from the base view after logging out and back in. Nothing was lost; they just didn't show.
- Planet view showed a lower outpost level than the base view. The outpost level now updates as soon as your base levels up.
- Selecting a planet or outpost in sector and planet view only showed once the mouse moved off it.
