Alpha build 96 is live. It fixes repairs for ships whose fleet is out in space, and two Shipyard layouts.
Not a required update: build 95 still connects. Steam brings in build 96 on its own; if it does not appear, restart Steam.
Repairs and fleets out in space
Ships are repaired only at your base. When a damaged ship's fleet was out in space, the Shipyard still offered REPAIR and INSTANT, and nothing happened when you pressed them.
- For such a ship the Shipyard now says which fleet it is out with and to recall that fleet, instead of offering REPAIR.
- Once the fleet has docked at your base, REPAIR and INSTANT come back.
- To repair a whole fleet in one repair-queue slot, recall it and press REPAIR on the fleet's row.
When a repair cannot start, you are now told why: the ship's fleet is away, the ship is already in the repair queue, the queue is full, or you are short of resources or coins.
Thanks to the tester who reported it with a video.
Shipyard layout fixes
- Every button stays inside the ship panel. With a damaged ship selected, REPAIR, INSTANT and the repair's price pushed OUTFIT and SCRAP below the panel's frame. The ship's picture now gets smaller to make room. Thanks to the tester who sent the picture.
- The Mark selector stays inside the hull panel. On another faction's hull in the BLUEPRINTS tab, the long status ANOTHER FACTION'S HULL pushed the Mark selector's right arrow past the panel's edge. The status now fits beside the selector. This was the known issue from build 95.
