This morning's freeze is fixed
On 22 October the server froze from 05:17 to 06:03 UTC. In a base raid, a shot that missed a defended building could keep missing that same building over and over, and the server never finished the shot. A shot that misses now always flies on.
- Everything up to 05:17 UTC was saved. Anything done between 05:17 and 06:03 UTC never reached the server, so if something you did then is missing, please do it again.
- The raid that was running when it froze never finished, so the base and the fleet in it lost nothing.
- If the server ever gets stuck again, it now notices after a minute and restarts itself, back in about two minutes, instead of standing frozen.

Fleet Admiral Voss steps in
- The faction screen: pick a faction and Voss briefs you on it. Pick another and she moves on to that one.
- Your firsts: she marks your first defeat, the first ship you lose, and your first win and first defeat against another commander. They are your account's real firsts, so if you already have them behind you, you will not hear them again.
- After a lost battle she may give one piece of advice, picked from what went wrong: repair before you fight, fit modules, you were outnumbered, Mark up your ships, take on a lower tier of the Tide, or read the battle report. At most one every half hour, and the same one not twice in a day.
- While you were away: on the summary of what happened, she tells you the biggest thing: your base breached, a raid held off, ships lost, or your fleets holding.
- The daily briefing opens by itself at your first sign-in of the day if you have not heard that day's report yet, once a day, from level 5.
