Alpha build 68 is live, with the first piece of the endgame we showed you as concepts. It is a required update: exit Steam completely and start it again to get it. Nothing was wiped.
Weekly Tide bounties
- From level 40, five bounties a week, the same for every commander: one to hunt the Tide, one for the incursions, one against other commanders, one for mining and one of command. Open them with the new reticle button at the bottom right; a number on it means a bounty is waiting to be claimed.
- Combat bounties pay 3 or 4 Tide cores, mining and command bounties pay 25 fragments, and every bounty also pays 10,000 coins. Claim all five in a week for a bonus of 3 Tide cores, 25 fragments and 25,000 coins.
- The week turns over on Monday at 00:00 UTC. A bounty you finished but did not claim is paid to you then.
- Tide cores and fragments are new, banked resources with no storage cap, kept for the Relic Forge to come.
Your commander profile
- Click your portrait at the top left: your medals, the title you wear, your alliance, your level and your career in numbers.
- Open anyone's: click their name in chat and choose Profile, click a profile somebody shared, press VIEW PROFILE on a member of your alliance, or click the other commander's name on a battle report, a raid's result or YOUR BASE WAS BREACHED.
- A profile never shows resources, fleets, where a base is or whether its commander is online.
Medals and titles
- Fourteen medals, from Tidebreaker and Duelist to Flagship Slayer, Deep Miner and Held the Line, each with three grades. Each grade pays fragments once: 10, 25 and 50.
- Your earlier play counts: your battles since 7 October, every incursion, your mining since 13 October, your licence and your level are counted the first time you sign in, and the medals they earn are given and paid then.
- Every medal you hold unlocks a title. Press CHANGE TITLE on your profile to wear one: it shows after your name in chat. SHOW IN CHAT posts a link to your profile.
Every number is a starting value. Tell us whether the bounties are worth chasing and whether your medals look right. The player's guide has every bounty and medal, and the changelog the full list.
