Build 38 is live. This one is client-only - the server did not change, so there is nothing to wait for beyond the Steam download. If it does not appear, exit Steam completely and start it again.
The base view numbers were frozen
Your stored resources, power, base level and bridge level along the top of base view were being drawn once and then left alone. They appeared to work because collecting resources happened to refresh the whole strip - so the moment your production stopped banking, every number quietly stopped moving.
Seven of the eleven readings up there were affected. They update live now. The resource buffer on a building's detail panel had the same fault and is fixed with it.
Thanks to the tester who reported that their base level did not change after an upgrade - that one report turned out to be seven separate broken readings.
Building icons
Base building icons now show the actual building rather than a rough placeholder, and they refresh when you switch faction. This took several attempts over the last day and some of those attempts made things worse before they got better - thanks for the patience and the reports.
Outposts no longer overlap
Outposts are drawn wider than the space placement was guaranteeing between them, so two neighbours could visibly intersect. They are now kept far enough apart, and any that already overlap are moved apart automatically the next time the server starts. Nobody loses an outpost.
The trade is that a planet holds fewer outposts than before - a large one now holds 175 instead of 449. No existing outpost was removed and no planet is over its new limit, so nothing changes for anyone already settled.
Also
Deleting every warehouse used to make your storage effectively unlimited. It does not any more.
As ever - if something looks wrong, say so. Every fix in this build came from a tester noticing something and mentioning it, including two that were written as asides on tests people had passed.
